Anthropic has announced a multi-billion dollar expansion of its compute resources through an enhanced partnership with Google Cloud, leveraging up to one million Tensor Processing Units (TPUs). This strategic move aims to bolster AI research and product development, with over a gigawatt of capacity expected by 2026.
